
National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NAAS) is a public coordinating center for agricultural science.
The Academy was founded in 1932 as the Kazakh branch of the All-Union Academy of Agricultural Sciences named after V.I.Lenin.
After the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 1991, the Kazakh branch of the All-Union Academy of Agricultural Sciences named after V.I.Lenin department was reorganized into the Kazakh Academy of Agricultural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
